Plenary Lecture -  Prof. Maria Jose Alonso, The 42nd Annual Meeting & Exposition of the Controlled Release Society

The TRANS-INT project was presented at the EuroNanoForum 2013

The TRANS-INT project was selected for a podium presentation during the 2013 conference of the EuroNanoforum that was held in Dublin from June 18-20. EuroNanoForum conferences are organised on a bi-annual basis within the framework of national EU presidencies and are promoted by the European Commission. The main focus of the current edition will be the commercialisation of nanotechnology, exploiting its potential for new applications, translating it from enabling technology through to development of commercially useful products for society.

Prof. David Brayden from the University College Dublin and deputy-coordinator of the TRANS-INT project represented the consortium at the Forum. “This invitation clearly recognises the innovative scientific nature and economic impact of the TRANS-INT project, which will provide an excellent framework for the development of marketable products in the field of oral nanomedicines, where there are unmet needs for disease treatment” said Prof. Brayden.
